well Jersey_EMT deleted my thread after a few hours of it being up.

heres wat they said.

I deleted your thread in off-topic.

It doesn't matter if some people have been happy and continue to be happy with them. They are no longer authorized to do business here due to unfair business practices, as well as threats made to other vendors and complaints received from multiple members.

To that end, no promotion of them is allowed anywhere on these forums.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

I figured I would just save time and forward you this information. Please understand that this information is **not** to be discussed publicly. If this trust is broken, severe penalties may result.

We (the administration) are not out to end SU's business. Members of this forum are still free to continue to use them as a vendor as long as they are not promoted on the forums.

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Justin

Here are the reasons why SU is no longer an Authorized Vendor.

They:

1. Stole a vendor's design for a product and rebranded it as their own.

2. Spread rumors about other vendors as well as the quality of products they were selling.

3. Consistently and knowingly sold products below what is called "Minimum Advertised Price", yet was the first to complain to manufacturers when a competitor did so, even accidentally. Manufacturers often set a price for products that vendors are not allowed to undercut. SU consistently advertised prices lower than MAP. While to the consumer, this seems like great service, it puts other vendors in a sticky situation. If they do not advertise a lower price (or at the very least, match the price) as SU, they would lose a customer. If they DID match or beat the price, they faced the chance of losing their contracts to sell products from that manufacturer.

4. In relation to #3, repeatedly PMed members who were to participate in a group buy from a different vendor, and offering the product to them at a price lower than MAP. This especially caused a problem when a vendor bought a large number of a single product, expecting a list of people to purchase it. Then SU comes around and undercuts them, and they are stuck with several or even dozens of a single product that they normally do not keep such a large stock of. And if the vendor wants to give a lower price, they have to go under MAP, which an honest vendor will not do. SU stole those customers from other vendors using an underhanded tactic that they knew the other vendors had no way of overcoming.

Take this arbitrary situation as an example:

You are a vendor, and purchase Part A from the manufacturer for a price of $200 each. You normally sell Part A for $250 for a $50 profit. The manufacturer sets the MAP on this item at $225. You offer the public a group buy at that $225 price if 20 people sign up. Because you have a large number of guaranteed orders, you can set the selling price for a lower profit per item sold. You get your 20 names and order the 20 parts.

In the meantime, SU comes along and starts to PM the people who signed up for your group buy. They offer a price of $210 for the part.

What do you do? If you decide to beat SU's price and sell for $200, you risk losing your contract with the manufacturer for selling below MAP. If you stick with the minimum price set by your contract, SU steals your customers away, and you are stuck with 20 pieces of this product.

The point is, SU, in these type of circumstances, left other vendors high and dry without any HONEST way to fix the problem. No matter what the other vendors, who played by the rules, did, they got screwed.

5. Mislabeled and marketed a piece of used junkyard equipment as a brand new and custom-made piece.

6. Repeatedly threatened other vendors. While these were not physical threats, they were still threats that could hurt other vendors' businesses and reputations. Things like threatening to purposefully spread rumors and lies about the other vendors if they did not stop reporting SU's dishonest behavior to the admins.

7. In addition, several complaints from members were received about SU's treatment of them.

heres wat i pmed back...

first of all. i don't mean to flock my feathers or anything.

but wtf does me saying Happy Holidays from SU have to do with me promoting their business? it was a warm welcome to the thread that said nothing but have a happy holiday. it didn't say " well by the way checkout our new blablabla"

so really, as much as i don't mind u deleting the thread. i say don't abuse your power jus cuz you yourself "as it seems" have a personal problem against them.

nobody complained about it until u came. a mean cmon, thats a sign that nobody really minds SU being around!

All of his comments were proven false a long time ago. And SU does NOT sell junkyard parks. I am tempted to just delete this, as it is drama I hated over there. That BS comes from a ****head I felt sorry for after getting laid off twice. Then he threatened to ban me for a banner.
