ya thats what i have been hearing, its a 1986 RX-7 2+2

but ya i have pondering the idea of a 20B but those motors are not cheap and i need to do alot of research.

but boost will come.

First im going to be doing alot of body work to it and getting it ready for paint.

Flat white or Flat Black im leaning more towards flat white but i heard its a ***** to do.

I had a friend with a '90 S13 that he rattle canned flat white and it came out really nice...and yea 20Bs are pretty expensive lol i would just go with a 13B but hey its your car...enjoy!

i have a s13, but im not ghetto enough to have a spray can paint job..
But then again the paint wouldnt be the main focus of the car, its on the inside what counts...

Rattle cannage caaannn come out pretty sweet sometimes. It's just hard as hell to make it actually look good. My vote is to definitely go flat white tho, for your color. As far as performance goes, you've got plenty of options with that car. Great catch my friend. Why do deals like that never come my way???

prep work pays huge dividends when it comes to painting...regardless of whether or not its flat or gloss or rattle can. dont cut corners there.

im going to wet sand the whole car before we paint it, my buddies dad has done alot of bodywork and has a paint booth that he is building now. So ill have alot of help.

But omar im def. going to go with flat black rims with the flat white paint.

na in '90 they were still the rectangular shape but the 2 brake lights and signal light were in the shape of circles...like the FD, but the housing isnt the same shape.http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/attachments/exterior-and-body/126411d1196990897-rx7-fc-taillights-for-sales-dsc02649-wince-.jpg

lol ya the interior was a big decision maker.

well got the car to my place, fires right up with starting fluid. Just having a ***** of time with the dam screws to get to the fuel pump and i ran out of sunlight. So hopefully tom. ill be able to get it.

But for today i got the title and change some fuses.

ya lol, i have been reading up some good stuff to help remove and prevent rust.

Got sent to NY for 2 weeks for work so i hit a pretty big wall on this lol.

Should have it road legal soon.

got the car shipped to FL finally and its running but overheating.

The plan is going to be a NA build. Bridge port the motor and some bolt ons

but i did find me a new chassis for my motor.

Base S4 chassis to S5 TII chassis.

6 puck cluthc
Tien springs
KYB struts
Walboro 255lph fuel pump

Those are the aftermarket parts on the car

plus all the TII stuff, so this is a BIG upgrade from my base S4 chassis
