This screen is almost a pnp on the 350Z cubby!!!!.
I'm working on an external screen to play DVD's on.
You need three things:
A 2003 lid cluster, a matching finisher, and a Farenheit T-7000MHR. I got the first two products from Performance Nissa at www.mynismo.com for $89.94 plus tax and the Farenheit screen from www.millionbuy.com for $139.95 plus tax. Both items arrived next day here in SoCal. Oviously if you've got the 2003 Z you're going to save yourself $89.94 - the 2005 door opens differently - flipping up while the '03's retracts.

You need to remove six screws - three on each side which hold the pocket in place. Save these screws as the can hold the screen in place later.

Here's where I ran the screws back into the black plastic behind the screen - not into it.

You'll also have to drill a small window to let the IR sensor have a clear view to use the remote control. Note that the cal strip is left in place in this picture to protect the screen during installation. It peels off to expose the cherry screen when you're done. I added 1/4" power connectors to allow me to plug this guy into the cable harness of the headend when I get around to it. Note the perfect fit!

And finally the money shot - the finisher installed and the door closed.

On a scale of one to five Z's I rate this one a simple "Z" - the tough part will be removing the front dash to slip this guy in place
