Sometimes i have trouble getting my Speed 6 into reverse
When it doesnt wanna go in it just goes into first on its own
It's the only gear i have trouble with
Has anyone experienced this problem?

I have seen the shifters in the MS3 get gunked up to the point that you couldn't push it down to get into reverse. A simple dealer visit to replace the shifter will fix the problem.

Not sure if that's your particular problem since you weren't very descriptive.

Just pump the clutch pedal, that used to happen to me on my Mazda 3.

redline synthetic transaxle fluid ftw :D

idk if thats the problem, but i used to have an issue getting into first, like it was very hard for the gears to engage, but i switched over to synthetic and its a lot easier now.

(I know this response is months after the last post, but...) One of the benefits to a manual transmission is how easy it is to repair them. I had lost 1st gear on a Prelude Si a number of years ago, and took it to the dealer; they said the tranny was shot and needed to be replaced. I then took it to my local mechanic, and told them what the dealer said. The mechanic rolled his eyes and said you pop off the back cover of the tranny housing, slide off the 1st gear, slide on a new one, replace the cover & refill with tranny fluid/oil, and you're done. And he did exactly that... in about half an hour, for less than $100. So don't do any unnecessary work...
