I've got an 09' Mazdaspeed 3 with a little over 15,000 miles and the car has started to ride HORRIBLY!!!!! It rides like I'm hitting and feeling ever bump in the road...even though there are no bumps in the road, or like I have flat tires...air pressure OK and wheels are balanced. Anyone else out there experience any sort of issues like this??? Is this an issue I don't know about??? Dealer thinks I'm nuts and says it's just the way the car rides (that was on the first trip)....I know better had it for almost a year now and it's never riden like this!!!! They've told me to wait until it gets worse (that was on the second trip)...huh??? how much worse does it need be???? Can't wait to see what they tell me on the third trip..... Don't want to spend any cash if it's not gonna fix the problem....that and the car is still under warranty. No major mods to the car except a CAI. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Got a whole bunch of cash I want to drop into it...but not until it rides right!!!!!! THANKS!!!!

take some of that cash upgrade the suspension, that should work lol. on a serious note i have never had a problem with mine, try finding someone else with a ms3 and ride in theirs, that way you can tell if your going crazy or not.

Take the car to a different dealer for a second opinion.

Def check out the motor mounts and def find another dealer. I feel every bump in the road........

but not until I upgraded mounts, added a **** ton of bracing, and set my coil overs to full hard.....

almost sounds like a strut issue, but that usually isnt the way it goes.

I had a broken rear left strut that had to be replaced and the the torsion bar or someting like that was loose. 15k miles on it and rode like crap until I got it fixed.

due to the style of design for the speed 3 gotta keep in mind it came with a slightly tune suspension..your just going crazy,if not take it to a mechanic.maybe were all getting crazy.lol

don't take that crap from any dealer and i don't i work at a dealer and that mess don't fly when your car under wro!they need to address the problem that might cause more issues and become a safty problem for you or love ones alike.talk to the gsm or service manager and tell them the car could cause some kind of personal injury and see what happens.good luck and let us know.

had the same problem man its your tires, get new tires preferably the goodyear eagle gt's they r good price nice tread wear and stick very well and have a nice aggressive tread. Dont go blowing tons of cash, id recommend putting 17's on it but quick fix, new tires.

Sure, the suspension is stiff. It's kinda supposed to be that way from a performance standpoint. I don't have issues with the ride quality per se, but I live in Canada, and when the temperature goes near or below freezing, the springs sound like a 20 year old mattress! Even on the not-so-bumpy roads. The noise is mostly coming from the rear.

Anyone else have an overly noisy suspension when it's cold? Or is it just an inherent quality of the Speed 3? Should I have it checked out?

Thanks

mine has done under 12,000 miles and it is doing the exact same thing, its a f***ing joke. i have been warned that the sport suspension can start to wear but at that sort of mileage it shouldnt happen. not happy with mazda right now lol.
