We are currently in the process of turning our Spicy MSP into a NASA TT car. After competing in a few NASA events in HPDE4 ( usually runs with all of the TT cars), we've comitted to running a full schedule of NASA evenrts in the Great Lakes, Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions.
We will of course be representing Street Unit. We will be doing a lot of testing and tuning during the winter. Thanks to Cullen and all of the support we've received from SU to get the car as competive as it is. We've just upgraded the suspension with BC Coilovers.
The car will be aligned tomorrow and corner balanced as well. we also wil be working with a number of Mazda teams in regards to set up for each track that we'll be running at and also getting some coaching from some of the drivers as well. We will be running at Watkins Glen in October and also @ New Jersey in November.

Well, we've ordered our SU Vinyl for the car, Freedom Autosports helped corner balanced the car and assisted with the set up. We've worked out a deal with Yokohama tires to run their AO48's and we'll also be running Enkei RFP-1's 17 X 8 Black.
We will also be upgrading the Clutch and Flywheel, thanks to Cullen and SU. Can't wait for our first official event in April 2010 @ Mid-Ohio.

We'll be taking the MSp out to VIR for our first NASA event of 2010. With the new tire and wheel package, along with the BC Copilovers and the new SU Adjustable Endlinks, we'll be doing more testing and tuning to get the car set up properly. We'll keep you all informed!!

Well, VIR was a success, the wife shook the car down Saturday and Sunday. She ran some very times on the full course and the North Course as well. We are still working on perfecting our set up, we will be upgrading all of the mounts and trying a few different spring combinations to see what we get.
The Yokohama AD048's were great, never got greasy and the grip was phenomenal. Next track adventure, Mid-Ohio, April 9-11. Can't wait to officially get the season started!!!!

Took the car to BeaveRun in Western PA, for a test on Tune on Saturday. Car handled extrmely well and we were able to knock off a 1.5 from our best times last year. With the wider tires, BC Coilovers and new plugs, the car was flawless.
The real test comes in a few days as we start our run @ Mid-Ohio, should be a lot of fun, we'll have a number of Mazda owners coming out to check us out and also experience a NASA eent. We'll hae an update to our porgress this coming Monday!
