CAI Question!

Well, I went into auto zone today to ask about HID kits (which they dont carry) and I also asked about getting performance spark plugs. The guy said isnt you car under warranty and I said Ya. He said it will void your warrantly and I told him I already had a cold air intake. I told him its ok because I could just take the CAI off and put the factory intake on if something ever happened. He said no because the ECU reads the air differently or something. I thought if you put the factory intake back on and remove the battery for 15 min it would reset the ECU. So im just curious whose right him or me!

tell that autozone guy to go home and play world of warcraft. buy your spark plugs and screw what he says. just go to the dealer stock or get voided like i did! :(

niether will void your warranty. btw to void your warranty for any mod........... they have to prove the item was the cause of your problem.

no reason a CAI should void a warrranty on a brake caliper..... ect
