SebringPalooza: Mazda Corral Information

Registration will begin very soon!

There will be a link posted soon for pre-registering a spot for the Mazda specific car corral at Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring held March 17, 2007. The corral is limited to 50 cars. Registering for these 50 spots will be first come first serve. Sign up to reserve your spot!

Each Corral Registration will also include (ONE) 4 day Superticket (Wed - Sat). The Supertickets include complete access to the competitor’s paddock, where the race teams are located. A link for the purchase of additional Supertickets for extra passengers and spectators will be posted soon as well.

Each spot in the Corral costs $50. This includes the 4 day Superticket which costs $25. These prices are special discounted prices brought to you by Street Unit Performance Warehouse and MazdaSpeed Motorsports. The regular costs of the event are $140 and $80 for the Corral and 4 day superpass respectively.

Corral Registration will also include:

Mazda Hat & Custom T-Shirt with each paid admission
Lunch on Friday and Saturday (Provided by Classic Mazda-Orlando, Florida)
Pace Car Controlled Parade Lap
Meet & Greet w/ all Mazda race teams (ALMS, SWC, Star Mazda)
Photo shoot with ALMS team
Hospitality Tent in Car Corral (w/New Cars displayed from Classic Mazda-Orlando, Florida)
Tri-Point Show Car in Car Corral (Depending on availability)
Car Corral Vehicles to have 8x10 Color Photo of their vehicle w/ list of mods

As of right now the previous information is tentative, it will be updated as updates arrive. And once everything is set in stone the links for the purchase of corral passes and admission passes will be provided.

Mike, can I call dibs:D This event is going to set the standard for the other events throughout the year. Mazda is looking to make this happen at all of the venues where they are racing! Petit Le Man (Road Atlanta), Mosport, Laguna Seca, Miller Park, Cleveland, Mid-Ohio.

It is nice to see the Mazda community rally around this effort, props to Cullen, Mike, Classic Mazda, Mazdaspeed Motorsports and Mazda N.A. for making this happen. I happy to be associated with such an event and the people behind it.

Once your place is confirmed in the "corral", we will need a hi res picture of your car and a list of your mods. If your car is stock, we'll use the OEM Specs of your particular Mazda. In addition if you belong to a particular Car Club or Forum, please add, your screen name(s) that you go by to the list, as we will place it at the top of the picture. Make sure that you send us a landscaped photo.

speaking of which where is the mazda corral? porsche and corvette always get the corral area by the bathrooms(which is actually probably one of the best viewing spots on the track, its right on the exit of a long very bumpy corner into a long straight...lots of sideways cars last year)...hehe so forget the 50ft walk...I'm assuming we'll have the spot that dodge usually grabs, or half of it anyways? If so its a fairly decent walk to the bathrooms and (hehe edit)to the "pit" aka the area that turns into a naked chick party zone at night...probably rivals the debauchery, drunkedness, and hotness of any daytona spring break party zone I've seen. Note to the ladies though, its gets kinda rough down there at night and fights tend to break out frequently over stupid things like drunk guys grabbing your gf.

Edit: But I mean who wants to go to that? Raider and I will be back at the corral(away from naked college girls) singing kumbaya around the charcoal grill.... :)

I wouldn't worry about those party area's...its localized into the area's setup for a party zone, just like every event I've ever been to...its all very avoidable and not a problem.

I knew you guys go to gator nationals...last time I saw plenty going on up there...its same all over....all in good fun. Number 1 reason to go is the hubby wants you there...that's all that counts. IMHO.

g8r don't let that sway your opinion..as pointed out the party area is localized to an area on the other side of the grounds from the hospitality area and generally doesn't get rowdy till after dark. Chaz is a very classy girl and if I felt it was unsafe for her I wouldn't have brought her with me last year. The camping area will be nice and quiet...and will be limited to only members of that corral. Not to mention she is always bugging me that not enough girls her age come out with the group I usually go with.

Hmm if it would make you feel better I can have her give you a call so you can get a woman's opinion on everything.
