Dude! After that ***** Katrina hit we had TONS of lovebugs in Jackson, MS! I had never even seen a lovebug before then. They are TERRIBLE!

must have been sucked up when Katrina initially hit the Miami area. It hit during lovebug season there. Hopefully they did not survive the winter, otherwise, they are there forever.

if u get lovebugs on ur car....you better be washing and then applying heavy coats of polish and wax to the fron of ur car....the lovebugs will eat threw ur paint...badly if u don't wash them off right away....leaving ur car few days with dead lovebugs on it = not good for ur paint

This is why I got the ultrasheild clear bra put on my car. The bugs will wipe right off and no paint damage.

wow. thats crazy stuff. never ran into a bug problem quite like that. they just tryin to hitch a ride and to go to another state for vacation.
