today when i got in my car my radio display didnt work but everything was fine i could still change it. thank god for idedic memory......but anyway after the car warmed up the display came on. talked to mazda and they said theyve never seen this problem and it will cost 600 bucks to replace the radio, since you cant get just the display. im asking is there a worthy aftermarket upgrade for my baby that replaces the lcd display and does it affect the ac.

Had the same issue on my wife's old 3. remove the radio and un plug and re plug all of the connectors on the radio. I did this and everything strated working again. Almost like it needed a reboot. I talked to Mazda and they wanted to replace the radio as well but it was not necessary after the "reboot" of the radio.
