My Ford Focus

So cullen has been on my ass about my ford focus. He says leave it alone save money, Buy something else. 1st off Can Someone ANyONE tell me why my focus is a bad car ( Keep in mind ) I already bought a Turbo,Innercooler pipes, Short throw shift kit,Fuel pump, Tune chip, Lifters, a BOV and a wing and bdy kit on back order. With a little head work and just some all around engine work, Wont my focus be fast? I can keep up with v6 mustangs right now and all i have is a Cold air intake and an exzst sys. Someone ANYONE tell me whats bad about the car and if you think like cullen what is a good car that comes turbo'd that i can dump a lot of money into the engine?

My choice at the moment RX7 ? Good or Bad ........ .. . . . . .. Help!

If I planned on dumping a lot of money into a car, I can think of a pretty long list of cars that I would want to put money into before I put money into a Ford Focus? Anyone agree with me?

talk about a sleeper, keep the focus. you'll be competing very well with the cars in your class. and a v6 mustang will be cake, i beat one in my speed already... goodluck wit that.

o and rx-7 are sooo common. very impossible to pass emissions though, but if u got a connect than u can get the sticker under the table. be different and unique, i'd hate to part of the "I lost to a focus" story lol.

Friend of mine is in the same boat as you. He has a SVT FoFo and he bought a turbo kit and all that **** just like you. I can tell you this... Turbo Tom, one of the only people in the United States that builds and tunes Focus's for turbo's lives right here near me. Tom has 2 Focus's. One putting down well over 350 whp and it is stupid sick fast. The focus does have issues with things going bad, like wheel bearings but if you can deal some some of those maintenance things I think you can build it to be a rocket car. Personally I don't like them much but if you want a fast car, you already have the stuff to do it and you already spent the money so go ahead with it in my opinion. A boosted Focus without many body mods is a super sleeper car and also more rare than RX-7's etc...

Ya man, I just got out of the same boat as you (kinda...had another car there in the middle lol)

But anyways, I had the Protege, threw alot of money into her...but it was still a Protege, ya know? It comes from the factory meant to be a realiable econobox. Sure, you can mod the **** out of it, get it to run decent times, but if you're really looking for preformance, save your money and get a car that puts you on cue/ahead of the game already.

Like Mike said, if you're gonna pump money into a car, there's alot of cars that you could get better results out of for the same money than your focus.

I say the Focus. I have had 2 and both we're great. f2 gets and makes great parts for it.
focussport has been big (enough to get theree car intop FORZA2)
not a bad car. but the standard mazda3 is the newer platform the euro foci will or are runnig that ford hasnt adopted yet here (which mweans na hatch smae era but newer)
but the foci is nto bad (id prefer a sedan)

or get a speed3 with turbo yeah, buy upgrades from here. be a littel under the 350 hp mark with bolt ons! (and you woudl eb able to support su more!
