With Ford discontinuing their Crown Victoria's, the cops needed to find new cop cars. Here in the suburbs of Cincinnati the "new" ones are popping up everywhere! Our local department down the street got a whole new fleet in favor of the new car. The new "Interceptors" are now officially the 2007 Dodge Charger Hemi's. They are friggin sweet looking, even though I am not a fan of police. We have a a lot of police in the area, and I do mean a lot. I have posted our new cop cars here. On top of these, the local departments have also purchased several trucks and SUV's. Check em out and if you come to the area you better fly right....these dudes are *******s.http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m308/stutz5805/RSCN0295.jpghttp://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m308/stutz5805/RSCN0296.jpg

It's kind of good that they aren't using the srt-8's... even though they look meaner and have better things like brembos all the way around and 75 more horsepower

These might be those. You should see the brakes on these things. Thats the first thing I saw.

you know, I am not sure. I thought these I seen today were SRT-8's, but cant swear to it. I will look into that.

idk, they may have some in other states, but i know in NC they have been using the V-6 models... either way im a bigger fan of the new Charger's then the old Crown Vic's...

Me too. I like the Chargers. They have a real aggressive look.

I can see the calipers and they aren't the brembos... plus the hood doesn't have a scoop... I'm sure they definately beefed these up though. and the other thing about the srt's are the brakes pretty much fill the 20" rims on them

They need to get some spinners on em. I think down here, the Charger/300 ownership policy states at least 20's must be installed. Extra pimpage for 22's or larger.

nope... they gotta have 22's and 24's:D

if I someone ever buys my mazdaspeed and I get my srt I ain't going the route of gigantic wheels... I'll keep the stockers on it. Especially since they are forged:D

Yeah, those are the Twinkies. Pimpin ass cops. :) I found some info on these new cars. Some are V6 with a 3.5, 250 horse...and some are the SRT-8 with the 5.7 340 horse. All Highway patrol get the the SRT-8. Small towns get the V6 unless they really want the SRT-8. None of the Police Package V8's have the hood scoop. Just read that. The brakes on these things are huge. First thing I noticed. Yeah, that bumper isnt nothing to play with. If you want to see if your state has the new cars let me know. I have a bunch of pics of different Charger Interceptors.

haha - The cop pulled me over because I was "slightly drifting in my lane" - got the usual shakedown, tint measured, exhaust listened to, trunk opened, etc etc...I hate these new cops, I dont know any of em lol...

Oh, he tried to tell me that my hood scoop and wing were too big and they were obviously obstructing my field of view...He didn't belive me that they came stock...

careful witht he stock wing.
I think on the evo boardsa bout a year or so ago, there was a guy pulled over for the wing also. after showing and proving to the judge the wind was the factory wing, he stil had to remove it and pay a fine!
