Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and kind of new to Mazdas and the import scene. But, I love it. I grew up wrenching on big V8 musclecars. I am amazed by how much power you can get out of a four cylinder. My first car was a '68 camaro SS that was suped up. My bone stock MS6 could keep up if I ran them. I find this amazing. I have big plans for my MS6 as soon as the waranty expires. I am not the real Chuck Norris; it is one of my nicknames because Norris is my last name.

Welcome to SUF!

If you have not seen this thread, here are comon options for the Speed6!

As for warranty, what is that? :) !

I would not worry too much, there are bolt on items you caninstall to help the engine breathe better, thus more power. Get an intake, TMIC, and BOV to start. You will also want the SU motor mount to keep the engine from flopping around like a fish out of water. If you ever have a warranty issue, easy to uninstall.

My wife's CX-7 has a bigger TMIC and CAI on it, gets better mileage even.

I am impressed by the warm welcome. It is nice meet some Mazdaspeed people. I just got my second oil change today; I have only owned the car for 3 months. I am an outside salesman who covers an 8 state territory. If I have to do all that driving, I am going to enjoy it. That is one of the reasons I bought my MS6. Good: I have not had to make a payment yet due to my company paying me for mileage. Bad: I will have a car with 50k miles in under 1.5 years. Anyways, that is my story; sales rep with a lead foot.

Thanks,

Chuck

That is quite the territory. I am glad I work inside sales. I sit and call people. Pretty good job. What do you sell?

I sell tool holders for CNC mills (machining). I work for Techniks, which is the manufacturer; and I sell to the machine tool distributors. I wish that I sold high performance car parts, it would be a lot more fun; as if work was supposed to be fun (lol).

Cool job, Chuck. I do rep work for Street Unit by night. By day, I work in advertising sales for a publisher. We publish for Associations. It is a pretty cool job, but I would love to work full time with SU.

Here it is my very first car. I built it up from a $3,500 piece of junk in the weeds. I did it when I was 16 with my dad as a father and son project back in '96. It was my first block-up build, and the engine still runs. It is actually for sell now; $22,000.

Thanks Always, time to start a new project. I was thinking of building a cheap track/drift car. Second gen RX-7 in bad shape, gut it, roll cage, springs, turn up the engine. I want to keep it under $5,000. Gotta wait for my next commission check though. I just proposed to my girl, and the ring was a good kick in the nuts.
