Well, maybe after I break it in a lil bit more! It only has 700 miles on it. Right now its in tampa, having the differental replaced under warranty! Threres a glitch with thte 06 sti differentials, the rear diff. was made to tight, therefore when you make a sharp turn the clutch plate inside it slams when it rotates in stead of a smooth quick rotation! I mean it slamed so hard the car shook!

But anywayz before iu get all carried away....lol :D

The sticker price was 37,900.00
I went to Bill Bryan Subaru and talked them down to $32,900.00 including Tax,Tags, and Title! Out the door! Full loaded! The only thing I didnt get was the engine warmer and that winter package crap! But You know I looked at the AWD G35, ehh, its more of a LUX ride then anthing else, then I went and test drove the evo 8, and the MR! Well immediatly i could tell that they weren't as fast as the STi stock! I did however notcie that when I take the EVO (both) into a turn about 45mph it handled a little bit better then the STi did! But the interior was disgusting! Ugh! UGLY as hell! And also, the EVO emit way more heat the STi does! i guess its the EVO's iron block! Well long story short, I went with the Sti, it launches a million times better then the EVO ever could, and has a gorgeous interior, and unlike the EVO, and if I take of my wing's it doesn't look like a family sedan! LMAO  Ha...

37900!?!??! damn thats a bit over sticker price hah. I traded my msp for an 06 wrx TR, looked at the STi but payments were to high. But I couldnt be happier with the car. Looking forward to tossin some money at her and seeing what she can do.

my roomate has a 06 TR and he has been looking for a wiring diagram so he can wire his guages up... anyone know of one?

what kinda gauges? if he just needs acc/ground/dimming then id go with the clockpod. If you pull it up, theres a harness back there labeled clearly with a 12v constant, 12v acc/switched, ground and dimming wire, all you need to power the gauges.

If you need any help w/ other questions, lemme know, i just threw 3 of these in the sti a few weeks ago.

my buddy has Prosport gauges..... he needs to know how to wire his A/f, oil pressure, boost gauges.

Hmm - return the a/f and get an egt :P lol . Cant help on oil pres, havent done one. But boost is pretty easy. Assuming he got the electrical one? All you need to do is tap the power wires into the clockpod harness according to how you want the lighting set up. Then, I ran the boost pres sending unit to the same wires behind the steering wheel ( my gauges are up in the a-piller for now), the actual unit itself is secured to the to of the fuse box by your left knee.

Then, open the hood, find your by-pass-valve, right infront of your IC, cut the vac line on the drivers side (ill find a pic later), slide the plastic T inbetween the vac line to re-connect it (i used a heat gun and dab of oil to get it back on there), then run the plastic tube through the firewall...theres a grommet right behind the clutch, it comes out down and right of your IC, you might have to remove it to get there (but i have small hands :D), connect your hose to the boost pres sending unit, and the other end to your T fitting on your bpv, start the car, go driving! :)

I know thats prolly not much help w/o pics, but you just need to have some paitence (make sure you either tie off, or teflon tape your hose connections so you dont have any leaks :)).

If you need any more help, just lemme know, more than happy to answer questions!

Be thankful you've even got an oil pressure gauge. Mine has been on backorder for 5 weeks now. Is your Oil pressure electronic, or mechanical?

Electronic will be tricky, as you will have to replace the stock sending unit
with a tee, if you're in a Speed6 (as I am), it's tight where the stock
oil pressure sending unit is mounted (above the oil filter) on the oil filter housing, you'll need to drain your oil and drop your filter to get the plumbing done. This will minimize a tremendous mess!
I'm waiting for my gauge to arrive, so I can see the sending unit,
and decide how to assemble the tee to accomodate both sending units.

The wiring is easy...one sending unit wire from the sending unit to the gauge, then a 12v, ground, and illumination (probably from the clock...)

Wish I could help more, but I'm in the dark without the gauge. I've got a 3 gauge pod waiting to be installed, but Prosport is holding me up big time.
