View Full Version : Sept. 7th 2007 Track Meet Bradenton MotorSports Park

okay,

Bradenton Motorsport Park is holding its monthly Club 1320 next month on the 7th.....so lets see if we can get some cars to show up...

it's a 1/4 mile track....located in Bradenton, FL

the event on the 7th wioll be from 7pm-12am w/unlimited runs

all info you will need can be found here:

it has driving directions and all.....

cost for the event is:
$10 to watch
$15 to watch and race

so for an extra $5 you can run your car down the track all night long


i will set-up a meeting point in a few days that way all the car planning on coming can meet at a location and drive in together...and park together..

so if your interested in coming to watch or race or do both sign up and hopefully we'll see you there.

the meeting spot will be somewhere off the interstate, that way its close and anyone can find it....it will probably somewhere we can grab a drink or bite to eat....before we head to the track, because i'm not sure if they serve drinks or food at the track.

Yes, the track does serve food & drinks.

There is plenty of time to eat and drink between races. I accidentally threw out a sandwhich because I thought I was ready to get in line and race and realized I had a half hour before I got my turn. :blue_variant:

I've only been there once and all I got was a soda. I think it was $3.00 for a large drink.

thats alot...lol....i can get a large drink from McDonalds for $1...or a GAs station for like $.89

i think we should just meet up somewhere prior anyways....that way we can roll in together...and park near each other....

If you all end up rescheduling this...I would suggest one of the Thursday night test & tunes from 6pm-11pm. The cost to run is $5 more, but you get your timeslips and that's the main reason I go.

The street legal drags are strictly heads up races...grudge matches if you will, where you race the guy next to you for bragging rights. I don't know if they use a tree or have a track official drop hands to start the runs, but with out a timeslip, I'm not really interested.

If it matters, I'm shooting for next thursday, Sept 13. I need to get some runs in with my new exhaust :cool:

I'll prolly have atleast 2-3 friend with me...would love to have more!

WOW everyone bailed out, how lame is that!! i'm finally going to make it out to a "meet" and no one is going to b there :mad3: !
