I'm in for wii, first for the zelda, metroid , smash bros and other nintendo titles that never dissappoint. and second everyone else is just going for a more powerful system with better graphics and accessories. Nintendo is trying to improve and revolutionize gaming like they always do.

Couldnt agree more...plus red steel looks pretty bad ass as well...and smash bros. owns all other fighting games...plus I cant wait to see what else they use the controller for

dont get me wrong the wii is going to be awesome. It would be my second choice. but the 360 is for anyone that games alot. the nintendo is not for some one who plays 8 hours strait. I like the 1080i high def the xbox produces. the guy from xbox at e3 stated if you have a choice buy the xbox and wii you get 2 great systems for the same price as the ps3.

All three have their own pros and cons.

PS3 is immensely powerful out of the box, it's being made by the company that took the gaming world by storm in only it's 1st generation and continued it through it's second generation, and as such will have great support. On the negatives though, it is incredibly expensive and is supposedly quite hard to develop for.

Xbox360 got a year-long jump on the market, meaning it's already established itself, and the Xbox Live online world has set the bar as far as console/internet integration goes. However, Microsoft still isn't supported incredibly well in Asian markets, meaning if you're a big fan of RPG/Fantasy adventures, your choices can be pretty slim.

Wii, like nearly every Nintendo console brings a whole different world of innovation to the table. The new controller has gotten great reviews already and Nintendo is great about surprising their fan base with lots of neat stuff on release day. Nintendo also has some of the most flat-out fun exclusive 1st party games, and has since the mid 80's. On the downside though is that Nintendo has a history of isolating themselves, meaning that they miss out on some very strong cross-platform games, leaving owners to pick from the "Nintendo-equivalent" of the games they want.

With that said, I would go for a PS3. Blu-Ray players are still around the $700+ range. So why not get the most powerful next gen gaming system to go with it? However, you won't see me in line to pick one up on release day. None of the systems have wowed me to the point that I feel I must absolutely own any of them, let alone all of them. Maybe it's just a sign that I'm getting older, as I used to buy nearly any new system I could find (ie. Phillips CD-i and the Game.com handheld).

I got the 360 and I love it, the graphics are amazing not that they won't be on the other systems. I'll probably get a PS3 when they come down in price. Until then the 360 is fine for me.

360 is the best thus far.
wii is fun with a bunch of friends - easy to get non-gamers to play
ps3 = total disapointment thus far. i've used it more for the blu-ray player than anything. ill give it a year like the 360 and hopefully itll pick its ass up.

Gow is the only game ive been playing for a while. Beat the single player on all the difficulty levels, and have been playing multiplayer since then.

I already have a PC and a PS2, so the Wii is the only thing that brings something new to the table.
