I have a feeling it is going to be a huge flop for nissan........
realisticly at a price rivaling low end Masaratti's, high end BMWs, and more than a C6 Z06......
those who will be able to afford such a car will go buy a C6 Z06 or viper or high end european car.
those who will want it........ well if their piggy banks can stretch.

the goal nissan set was to be faster than a 997 and thus far is gauged to do so.
like I said it will be too expensive for those who care to have it and those who have the cash will go buy something else.......
very much the next NSX..... you will see a few, but not too much market for it

The shock woke me up. If I spent $85K on something that didn't fit on one of my wife's fingers, I'd find myself sleeping under a car.

I pay 2 dollars a week to get this car, one on Weds. and one on sat.....someday i will win the lotto....LOL

Thats nice but not worth it. You can buy somthing like the Camaro. And supe it up for anothr 10,000. And still be way below the nissan.

I think Nissan should have had several models. Like start at 40K and move to 60K and then make a special model like the V-spec for 80K.

the 350z is a fairlady. the G35 is a V35 350GT. there are multiple skylines in japan and things like the M35 state side are versions of the skylines over seas with different badges.

There's a gap in the $50k-$80k cars right now. You can get a vette, or CobraGT500...but the GTR is labled as a super car....going against the F430 and 911 Turbo...those aint cheap...I'd still take a Viper for $80k though....kick the red-headed-step child out of this car.....with half of its cyl.....

this car is not going to be flop for Nissan, I have talked to a few people that work for nissan and they pretty much said, you can't get the new skyline for 2009 anymore they are all already preordered, that is pretty good for a car that doesn't come out for almost a year. Also, a z06 will not be able to keep up with this car, just the tech. in the GT-R, AWD, and it's straight line acceleration beats the z06 all around. They are also selling for around 70k, not 85 what everyone else is posting. Corvette is making a faster car though, the ZR1 but that thing is over 100k and is barely faster. The viper also does not compete on the track with the gt-R. For all the technology you get with this car, it's unbelievable nissan can sell it for this cheap. Wait until it comes out and you will see what this car can do. If everything goes as planned, I will get to drive one in june and I will post a few videos showing how it does.
in june you better let me know, so that I can come check it out.. lol
