I will start the thread for the sake of the arrival list. We are in finds of a new location, which I was supposed to pin down tonight but couldnt due to some issues. Also, the date has changed, in regards to the Tampa situation. as I explained, depending on total showing on this meet, I will decide to keep it either the second or third Saturday.

Time still the same (thankfully). Starting at 8pm:) Ill be there at least half an hour earlier. I will most likely have a location by tomorrow. Thanks to all, and let get things rollin!!

I found a few locations last night, it comes down to availability. Its a bit hard since I had to change the date AND the location, just to please teh crowd. My first concern is safety, and I dont wat to meet in some abandoned parking lot or some place not well lighted or away from the road. If anybody has some ideas Im willing to check it out.

Location sadly is yet to be determined, hopefully in the next few days. Time still 8pm starting, on the 17th of November.

The main problem with the locations is that, yes, Sonic's was a bit tight with the parking lot and the driving (not that at the new location driving like maniacs is going to be allowed. I have advised people about that already), but it was the ideal spot. Right by I-drive, nice location, convenient, refreshments avail and IT IS SAFE. My main concern about the meet is safety for all the members. Now, sure, Ive found a few spots to hold it, but they are either not quite well lighted, not to close to the road (which takes away from the publicity if you may) and/or an area I dont trust. We could go up Kirkman, sure, but that area aint right. On I-drive south, most of the places are going to be jammed and/or are private (except for two spots I found). And again, i dont feel safe for my members.

So Josh is hard at work top please everyone. I apologize for the inconvinience, but with the request of so many changes, I have to set up again an idea that took a few months of planning.

ive got a location. Ill be talking tomorrow to the managers of the local area to make sure is cool (one of them is my best friends wife, so thats a plus). It wont be as convinient (i.e theres no car service for drinks) but its well lighted, next to I-drive, and theres plenty of parking. Theres a few restaurants in the area though...

well, It wont bubble percé , since vacuum lines suck air more than push it. you could blow smoke through the intake (if you smoke, thats an easy fix. If you dont, use and incense or something with heavy smoke) and see if its leaking out somewhere. Also, spray WD-40 around the area, listen for a whistle sound. That helps. I dunno. Also, check your IC, it might have cracked. If all else fails, start going at the electronics (ignition, spark plugs and wires, etc).

uhh no...smoke is just miniscule ammounts of mineral and ash "disolved" into the air. One could argue that they might mess the internals, but in truth, the parts per million are soooooo small, its practically imposible any of those particles could affect your car more than it affects your lungs. Besides, most of the smoke burns out on the combustion. So no, feel free to blow you engine...fur of smoke that is lol!!!

I'd be in for that, but not a meet every week or every other week. THe drive from Jacksonville would kill a person doing it that often. Well not so much the drive but I-4 would. Hopefully it's not as bad everyday.

Everybody has lost out on a part of food or drink that we expected you to bring. I know lives are hetic. But it can't be I am going to bring the turkey to christmas dinner. then decide not to go. cvause there where a lot of people that said they were going to show to the last meet. But didn't.
