I was thinking about this this morning, we could make a cold air box for the EVO that would not necessarily need a tune to run becasue it would draw in air from the outside like the stock air box. However unlike the stock air box it would not be as restrictive, we could get rid of the ribbed pipe from the MAF sensor to the turbo. We could make the kit accomidate a high flow pannel filter like the one from Works, or a K&N, and we could redo the intake scoop too. Let me know what you guys think, I can send you pics of what ever parts that you need to fabricate this. Another reason why this would be good is because the Evos have huge benifits from just a drop in pannel filter. We could work out the rest of the restrictions and have the best intake on the market for stock turbos which is what alot of people with evos run. We could also make the box so it accomidates a shorter more direct flowing IC to TB intercooler pipe like I have, me stock box has a screw in it that is rubbing on my pipe. I think I could generate a good amount of interest in this item so let me know what ya'll think.
