One of the guys at work said he has a JDM intake manifold for the SR20. I don't know enough about what you have done to yours to know if it would fit or not, or if it would work or have advantages once the turbo kit is done. If it is something that you are interested in, call Cullen or let me know. Just a thought. Car looks phenominal though. Very sweet. Maybe you'll let me check it out some day.

call me a noob, but whats the difference between the ka24de and sr20det other than size and turbo...or is that the only difference?

First off both motors are very good motors. the Sr is the cheaper way of going unless you plan on throwing a turbo on a 150,000 mile engine. the biggest difference is displacement. the sr has a aluminum block and is 2.0L the ka is iron and has is 2.4L. the sr is lighter but the ka produces a lot of torque. most of the time iit produces more torque than HP. On the heavy 240's torque is a good thing. There are a lot of battles with the ka vs sr. with the sr for about $3000.00 you can buy a full front clip and swap everything into the 240 and be 200 hp. Using my car for example I will have $5500.00 into my ka and turbo setup and should be around the 300 rwhp mark. I will be boosting 12psi to get that number. the sr will need to run about 20psi for the same. the downfall to the ka is tuning...you can blow the motor very easily at those numbers. the sr comes turbo'd from factory. So it is a lot easer to tune the sr. My friend at work has a sr with about $20000.00 it mods. I am going to race him as soon as I have the turbo in. I will have more Hp and torque but his car spools hella fast...so well see ;)

God damn...Dave had that much invested in the engine? Or is that on the whole car itself?
