All you need now is a nice FMIC for that nice S2000 smile!!!! I like it alot. I even like the CF trunk which i usually hate! Good job!

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

At this point, the exterior is pretty much done. And after this weekend, my braking system should be done. Then it's time to finish the suspension, then decide if i want to go supercharged and hit 300-320whp, or go with an ITB setup, an aggressive NA tune, and have a wide powerband suitable for autocross and road racing. Either way, it's going to cost me at least around $6k, so I got some time to ponder it.

Well, project "Killer Bee" is almost started...

..Who would have thought that attaching a snail to your engine would make it go faster? :)

Haven't dynoed it yet, but I imagine somewhere in the 200-210hp to the wheels range.

do i smell a carbon fiber hard top ? and a mugen roll bar? :D

Well, for carbon fiber HT's, you basically have two options.
1. Seibon. It's pretty cheap, but numerous people have had theirs leak in the rain.
2. Mugen. Very sexy, but very pricey...to the tune of $5k.

Anything Mugen is usually overpriced. The Cusco roll bar looks nice in the car, but i doubt it's real safety capabilities.

leave it convertable style...and use that money for supercharger...or snail power......

looks good.....i say leave outside (exterior) alone...and work on the engine and suspension like you planned...

true but having a bar there is better then not having anything there if you roll it some how at least you will have 'some' protection .. idk

well as w/any car, you make it faster, its gonna need to stop faster. from driving my brothers s2k i know that the brakes definitely have decent power. but since you plan on boosting it, you have any upgrades planned for your braking system??

if you read his post...then the brakes have aready been upgraded

There are OEM roll hoops behind the seats. Underneath the plastic coverings are steel bars. The A-Pillars are also reinforced from the factory. I've seen a few S2000's post-rollover, and the driver has almost always walked away.

With that said, Safety21 makes roll bars using Cusco's design, only with steel instead of Chromoly. So, it's a thought. But the car is quite safe as it is.

As for the brakes, yep. SubZero drilled, slotted, plated, and cryo-treated rotors, Hawk HP+ pads, and Goodridge lines, now with Motul 600 brake fluid. Just didn't have them on yet when I took the pics.

It looks good, are the exhaust pipes uneven?
