People and their misconception of crankwalk... I wish people would do research before smacking the DSMs...

I'm not smacking, just repeating all that I have herd. You are right thou I shouldnt talk what I dont know.

they say if you fear crankwalk then dont buy or sell your dsm. my block is fully race prepped, lightened, knife edged and all. we expect 531 hp at 31psi on c16

F*** yea... i miss the DSM world bad...

didnt mean to come down as an a$$hole... Its just that it aggravates me when people talk about the DSMs as like every single one crankwalks.. the true is that only a handful of the crankwalkED... I highlight the passed tense in tha word because, now a days, the only way to get a DSM with less than 70k miles is to pay BIG money, or rebuild a 100k+ miles engine like you can see them everywhere... By then (70k miles) IF it was gonna crankwalk, it would have done so already. Anyways, history talks by itself, DSM were never the most reliable cars. But in my case, it was what helped me understand mechanics to a next level. Even though they arent reliable, repairing a 4g63 is very easy... If you know how to change a tire, you will be able to replace a turbo in that engine bay, whoever knows about DSMs will confirm this. PLUS.. with less than 4 grand you can make a daily 450whp car.... and IMO, the second gen DSMs are sexy as hell...

just my $0.02

i think the same as you hector. noon knows what theyre going against when they pull next to a dsm thats been highly modded, especially camero and mustang drivers. ive smoked so many of them with just a front mount.
