Yeah me too...this is the first year im not going. im trying to get flight tickets to go there but its expensive...I lived like 20 minutes away from COBO so I went all there every year. parent are still in Michigan...so i really really wanna get a flight and stay with them and go..its just soo hard to find decent plane tickets :(
Yeah I hear ya. I have better luck going to the LA auto show now that I live in AZ.

i take that back..I didnt go last year...I worked it..well the set up..and left the day it started..cause I had to come back to florida for classes. so I didnt go last year but I saw most of the cars before the show anyway. wish I coulda worked it this year. im looking at clickondetorit.com now and it has some videos of the preview...im so sad..I wanna go!!

i want to know :( im also obsessed with work emotion kai's...im pondering painting these wheels a stone greyish color...most likely im going to just color match mine to the hood and stuff

you are better off powdercoating them Jake... it'll last longer

yeah i agree so is there anyword on the 2010 mazdaspeed6? rumors im hearing its goin to have either a 3.0 or 3.2 turbo awd 6spd blah blah. new body style but basically the same other than the motor but the motor is the rumor part. anybody heard anything?
with all the green treehuggers...dont expect to see any turbo, much less on a v6...look at the next gen rx7/8/9 or whatever mazda is gonna decide to call it...it probably wont happen thanks to hippies

damn if it looks like that, I'll have to say, what an upgrade. Unfortunatelly, looks like the six will be going frm sports sedan thing to luxury sedan, cause thats upthere in looks with lexus IMO.
If you take the first pic, and do a blow up of the door panel, perhaps you can see what brand names are there, and one of those names might be the wheels. FYI jake;)

The rest of the world will get the Turbo 2.5 pushing 280hp (the previous speed had 256hp in the rest of the world) and since the v6 is only in north america, so that's great for them.
For the USDM, who knows. A twin turbo 2.5 or a turbo 3.7 seem to be the only logical choice to me, and moreso the twin turbo 2.5 since the development, research, and production of a v6 speed6 seems just far too costly.
The JDM and EDM markets should get their 2nd gen speed6 in 2010 and at the earliest a USDM speed6, if it happens, will be 2011 at the earliest.

i saw a in a book like a car book lol. the concepts for the rx7 that's what they called it then(like last year) going to basically have a better version of the crap arse rx-8 motor and possible twin but more than likely single. it looked bad-ass sorta not as sexy but like futuristicly( is that even a word) new body stile but if it happens is the key
