Hey thats cool man! How is your Renesis motor holding up? I heard that they don't run as good as the 12A and 13B. FD's are nice too. TURBO??

Turbo on the 8 is fixing to get swapped to the GT3071R. The Renesis is nice to me - premix and don't jack up your tune and you won't have many problems. A lot of 04-05's seem to be dying due to lack of OMP volume.

The FD still has the stock twins - but there is a nice GT35 R kit sitting on my living room floor awaiting my arrival.

I have a friend with an '87 that he just boosted. He put the setup from a stock Turbo II. He boosted about 3 weeks ago and already blew a driveshaft and 2 trannys, lol.

the na tranny and drive shast and rear end top out about 180 whp then they tend to go bad. the tii tranny is good for about 450 for the 87-89 and 90-91 tranny hold up to 500 whp.

the rear ends are same on all the tii arround 600whp and drive shafts are same also to oabout 400whp. all the trans on the 13bs bolt up to any 13b motor.

if your buddy needs anything let me know i have some connections on parts im still planning on another rx-7 maybe fd with some major engine work trash the rew and get a cosmo or even have pineapple get me a 4 rotor..

He had a '91 before, and he stripped most everything out of that for the '87, and someone had his '91 towed to some shop. He ended up trading that shell for a new tranny, new pressure plate, new drive shaft, and all kinda other goodies to get his '87 running perfectly. He's supposed to spend all this week putting everything in, lol.
