1974 Benz 230 55,000 miles It was my grandfathers, he gave it to me on my 21st b-day. It was a show piece, never saw rain, or snow. It won countless local car show titles. My grandfather then bought several BMW's after that. 1995 740I then a 1997 540I, which he thought that the 540 was the "ultimate" driving machine! He passed away in Feb 2000 and my grandmother still has the 1997 540I with a little more than 80,000 miles on it. The grandfather is the one responsible for getting me interested in cars. But my 1st car was a 1987 Horizon POS. It actually caught on fire at a gas station while I was pumping gas into it. I tried to feed it more fuel so it would burn to the ground but somebody put it out before it went totally up in flames!!!
