the new sti

SO what do you think of the new look that they gave the sti. personally i like it. but the only thing i dont like is the little spoiler above the back window. im sorry they have to knock that shiot off. the rear spoiler puts enough downforce for everyone

Which 'new' STi are you talking about? :)

The 06 got the new 'vag' grill, smaller hood scoop, and the rear window spoiler, which kinda grows on ya ;) It also has a rear diffuser under the bumper.

Then theres the STi Limited, leather, heated seats, sunroof, more creature comforts, smaller lip spoiler..etc.

THEN --- theres the new concepts, a hatchback STi, etc lol. There's tons of versions of this car :D

ya no im just talken the 06 sti with the grill and all... no leather. im sorry but if i get an 06 sti im taking that thing off.

haha - Yeah, the new 06 design got some heavy critizism. The "flying vag" (use your immagination) grill was the biggest beef w/ the community. However, it has really grown on me, esp w/ the new projector headlights (finally). There are actual 3rd party tests that prove that the small rear spoiler is very efficient at adding downforce and help w/ the aerodynamics of the car too...:D

All that aside, 2005 STI > Any other stock production STi :D

05s! The 06's look good on some sti's not all. Depends on the exterior theme, imo. :)
