Just want to advise the members who will be attending the Mazda Corral and particapating in the Parade Lap(s) that a couple of rules apply.

1. There is a "Mandatory" drivers meeting, 6:00PM at the corral. If you are not there, you will not be allowed on the track.

2. If you have consumed alcohol prior to the parade lap and have the appearance of being under the influence or have alcohol on your breath, you will not be allowed to particpate.

Just a reminder that we are representing not only SU, but Mazdaspeed Motorsports, all of our local and national clubs, MNAO, all of the Mazda race teams and yourselves. A lot of work has gone into planning and organizing this event and I know that Cullen, Mike, Chris and myself, will not let a few ruin it for the others.

We don't want to be Buzzkillers, but IMSA controls the event and we have to abide by their rules. Thanks for your participation at this event, we appreciate your commitment to it!

See you at the races!

Thanks,
Marlon

Very true....

I think since last year was the first year imsa didn't know what to expect, they looked at our crowd and remarked how we were the younger crowd as most vette owners are old guys :)

I think it was great that everyone showed that this group of guys were not a bunch of idiots, it showed them that we as a group were responsible and took their rules serious, no one did anything stupid. Its important to remember this is not something they have to let us do, its a privilege.

Just so everyone knows......! Last year we were 100% inside IMSA's rules to the parade lap. If anyone and I mean anyone gets the bright idea to try and be funny, you better go directly out the front gate and run for the hills.

Just so everyone knows IMSA implied concern last year to us behaving this and we proved there concerns wrong. Last year the parade laps went flawlessly and this year they will be the same. We as Mazda owners have proven that we are respectable and this will continue this year also.

Thank you.

As a spectator for the parade lap last year standing in the hair pin or safety clip, the Mazda group was one of the better clubs that followed the rules. As for the German club w/ their 4-rings, not so good. By the comments everyone was making, all of the other spectators in the area noticed too.
