Two random CELs every few K miles....

As many of you know my p5 isn't some garage queen. I drive it and I drive it a lot. However I keep getting these same two CEL's every few thousand miles. Its not that big of a deal to me really just a pita as I hates CELs.

P0140 - 02 Senser CKT no Activity (bank 1 Senser 2) <--- is this the o2 sensor after the cat?

P0301 - #1 cyl misfire


I want to say that both of these codes are caused by my 02 sensors having extremly high milage on them and need replaced. Can anyone confirm this or give me other general ideas.

I have new wires within 5k, plugs within 15k, new coil packs withing the past 20k....

Quite posibly. And the fact that the O2 sensor(s) is/are as old as you claim might have blown one of yer spark plugs aways. Too much gas in the chamber (because of a bad read of oxygen on your exhaust) might flood the chamber and the spark plug, which can cause a misfire. Change those and check your sparks to make sure they arent flooded or fused.

i checked the plugs when i cleaned the bay today and they were fine
