Waiting is the toughest thing in the world, I feel for you man. I ordered my mazdaspeed3 in September and still don't have it. Like your mounts, they are in transit, so I know it is only a matter of time.

**** Raider, I wish there was gunna no snow driving............On a good note, as of yet we have no snow on the ground. I was snowboarding last Thanksgiving weekend. Mine came USPS and the damn USPS website never shows any tracking info until after **** arrives...........
Anyway, I do have a question. Is there any specific torque setting on all 3 of the bolts for the front mount ?
Pics up soon. Front one is in, just buttoning stuff up.

Oh yeah. They are purdy. 70 eh, OK I was cranking and had my torque wrench at like 70 and hadn't broke it yet and was getting a little nervous. Didn't wanna F anything up.

Well, I no longer have a rattling exhaust. That's good, but, holy **** does my liscense plate rattle now.............damnit !! I have only got the front one in so far. It's really not too bad. I find myself shifting into Neutral at stoplights since my plate is soooo loud now. Gotta work on that. Wish the car idled like 200 rpms higher in gear. It seems like it just idles a bit too low at a stop and in gear.
Anyway, onto the pics.

wait until those sides are done. You are going to gain 20 ft/lb tq... with all 4 in and vibration shouldnt be bad at all

I don't mind the vibration too much. Worst thing now is just the damn rattling of the plate. And various interior pieces..........
Hey Cullen, some interesting reading for ya. last page by JDM Sam.

yeah that guy has a lot of pent up negative energy. He won't say anything positive about anything to do with SU. He may still be in high school.
about the license plate, grab some double sided or foam tape. That will fix your noisy plate.
AWR makes great cheap race parts. Most guys do not race their protege to need 88 or 95 durometer bushing stiffness. Thats why we used 62 and offer all four mounts.

Exactly, for everyday driveability those are just way too stiff. Foam tape for where ? I think it's those couple little "feet" on the frame piece that the plate actually bolts to that are bouncing off the hatch. Not too sure how to go about it. I have half a mind to cut most of the frame piece away except where the plate bolts to it and see if the rest of the plate would still sit far enough off the hatch and not rattle. I already have the entire backside of the plate dynamatted. Come to think of it, it didn't really rattle until I added a Liscense plate frame to the plate............Might have to experiment a bit tomorrow

My rear license plate frame rattled all the time. Cullen is right, double sided foam tape, placed strategically between the frame and the plate, and behind the plate on the plastic plate mount will be fine for rattle resolution.
As for the vendor bashing another vendor on that forum, I bet he is happy to know that SU is not there, as he would be in violation of the ever-changing rules.
FWIW, I had an 88 durometer AWR front mount for 1 week. I bought it used, so it was already broken in. Well, it made my car shake so much, it was like it was broken. The washer nozzles would go all over the place when I used them. So off it went, and I sold it. If I was keeping my p5, this would be an option. They are not all about looks, but function. 99% of the cars they the SU mounts will go on are daily drivers.

and for high HP track proteges, they can run all four mounts.
Raider

And with the SU mounts, they still will not have the my-fillings-are-going-to-pop-out-of-my-teeth syndrome, and have great results!

will you really gain torque like that? or are you cracking a joke kinda like 'vynil graphics add horsepowerz to my car!'

I had an Injen plate frame on the car. Today I tried just taking it off and it seems that the rattle is now gone. So, I guess I am going to leave it off......... Hopefully it's just that easy.

have you tested an msp with all 4 mounts? hows the vibration? i only have an awr 88 durometer front and it can be quite annoying sometimes especially at idle sitting at stoplights.

justin...i had that problem....went away with the side mount inserts.
i mean id be all over these mounts if i were not a broke as hell college student. but if you cant pay for the mounts maybe try the inserts from cullen? i know those stopped my vibration.
