cooling plates for those of us running a FMIC. something like this

no one is making them for the mazdaspeeds. this would be a good idea for SU to capitalize on.

there is only one problem with that from what I see....the whole radiator core support/cover blocks the air for the upper tier of the grill to make it divert to the ducting for the tmic... which would mean that you can't divert it to the radiator (atleast on the MS6 anyways)

IIRC that is what the little thing right under neath the bumber is for. I don't have it in. And my car does not over heat. Besides the air travels through the IC into the radiator. But understand what you mean. Could be hit of miis

its not an overheating issue that it is addressing, it would be perfect to have alongside the stock undertrey to divert all incomming air through the grill to the fmic and everything else behind it. all the evo and sti guys are running these and they look good under the hood for a more complete look.

nay for cooling plates up top since theres no place to put it on an ms6....however, +1 for some type of undertray.

JROC. It would work if the ducting for the top mount was gone. IO have nothing but a big open space there now.

I have one on my NA 6. we have one on the S13 as well. the duct work would make it worthless and near impossible to fit properly.

I would be more interested in seeing them develop a open and badgeless grill that fills the up to the hood and incorperates a diffuser.
