Got the Autometer gauge pod from SU.com - went out today in the cold and switched em off the A-pillar - Lemme know whatcha think. They're Prosport gauges that preform the STi opening needle sweep, pretty cool.
White faced for day time driving

A little closer

And at night, toggled w/ the lights, they are amber to match the cluster

The pod is cool - nice and affordable, fits well and holds the gauges in place. I also like how they are angled toward the driver just a little bit. :)

Looks very clean. Never really liked the pillar pods. That looks great. You could almost sand it for a flat finish too, or paint it flat to avoid any reflection.

Thanks - Yeah I agree on the glossy finish being out of place. BUT hopefully my gauges will be replaced w/ an onboard carputer+a few LCD displays soon...So in the meanwhile, this will do :)

sounds cool! Looks like you screwed that thing to the dash, you gonna put something there to cover the holes when you replace the pod?

It actually just screws into the holes where the clockpod was. Just had to clip some metal brackets on, and volia, gauge pod :). That clock pod is very handy, lots of things can go there :D. (Gauges, radar display, turbo timer, lcd display, nav unit, cd player, etc etc) I imagine there will be several more things shoved in that slot before im done :D

Very nice look, I wish the MS3 had the same pod position but it doesn't.

Can't you use the thingy where the nav normally goes? (if you dont have nav...lol)

Unlike the 6, the 3 doesn't have that same pop up in the dash. I wish it did because that would be an easy fit. Unfortunately it doesn't and we would need to cut into the dash in order to make something work.
