Does this guage tell you your peak PSI? It used to do this for me whn I had the wires run wrong, now when I press the peak button, it only shows me where I set my peak at. How can I get it to show me the peak pressure that I just ran?

not sure if it does, i think you just have to eyeball and see what it does.

Does it reset after you turn your engine off?

I'm 75% sure that it does not have a peak memory... All the peak does it sets an alarm for you, so if you go over your setting it starts screaming at you. That's all I believe. Could be wrong though.

Well, before you changed the wiring it used to tell me my peak that I reached during that driving session, until I shut the car off. Now it just shows me 17 psi every time I press it no matter what...I have to call Prosport tomorrow I guess.

Do you not have the instruction manual anymore? Go on prosports website and find the features that are on it.

no i just tap the button. Unless it is showing me the peak of sometime before...is there a way to reset it or shoudl it reset by turningoff the car?

if you press the button until it shows the peak.... then hold it down while it displays the peak, it will reset itself

If you rewired it, are you sure you have the one wire tied to a constant 12v source? Once the car is turned off, it forgets the peak boost.

yes that is why i rewiried it, cuz at first it wasnt, but now it is a constant 12V.

Oh, ok I think I would call prosport.

OK, directions were accurate, I was getting my peak boost when I pushed my peak button. You can reset it by pushing the peak button, then holding it for 3 secinds. it works.

OK just to clarify....

Nick, your boost gauge DOES NOT tell you what the last highest boost pressure you hit was. It does not do what some aftermarket tachometers do and tell you that.

What everybody thinks you're speaking of, is that your boost gauge is telling you what you have your peak boost warning at. When you push the button once, it jumps to ~17psi which is where I set your warning to originally. If you now hold the button while it's at that peak boost warning setting, it will then start flashing the needle indicating you can now "reset" or change what the warning is set at.

However, at first when we wired it, it was not tapped into the correct fuse therefor resetting the whole gauge which is why it kept beeping every time on startup. When you told me there was a problem and I switched those fuses it fixed your problem. There is nothing wrong with your gauge unless something new has come up. But what you speak of is completely normal.

I think everybody was confused there.

Sorry, if he has the premium electronic prosport gauge, it will recall the highest boost that the car made. If he does not have the premium electronic then forget I said anything, the regular boost gauge they offer does not have that function (I have the premium electronic boost gauge for about 2 years now).

HAHA yeah MArk, I tested it yesterday, it works how I want it to. It tells me the highest boost I reached since my last reset.

On all three of the gauges I've installed for you jamie and eric, I don't ever recall this function lol. I messed with them all and only noticed one push tells you what your alarm is at, and then hold it for 3 seconds and then you can change it. Apparently I didn't mess with them enough. My bad....
